Ontario’s Ti 22 is Titanium, for strength. With a handle and frame lock constructed completely  of Titanium you can trust the Ultrablue to be as dependable as it is colourful. With an iridescent oxidation, the handle’s colour shifts from a deeper blue to a purple similar to an Ultraviolet, hence the name Ultrablue.
