Boker Plus Dvalin Folder Drop Folding Knife

As one of four smiths, the dwarf Dvalin created the necklace Brisingamen for Freya, the Germanic goddess of love. In Norse mythology, this special necklace is said to be associated with magic, love, but also sorrow and suffering. Thus, Freya’s tears in heaven always promised rich fruit on earth. However, it was the wrath of Odin, the father of the gods, that not infrequently caused the goddess of love to spark wars in the human world.

Dirk Hofmeister of Midgard’s Knives was inspired by the Nordic art of forging and created the pocket-knife version of the popular Little Dvalin. The powerful Dvalin Folder Drop impresses with its compact size and features a ball bearing drop point blade made of D2 with an austere stonewash finish and a pronounced hollow groove on both sides as a nail nick for opening the folding knife. The jimpings on the back of the blade promise a secure thumb rest for difficult cutting tasks. Despite the wrath of the gods, the well shaped and partially serrated handle made of G10 always lies securely in the hand. The stainless steel framelock is concealed on the back of the handle and reliably secures the blade. Alternative handle scales in a wide variety of shapes, colours and materials can be easily printed out yourself using a commercially available 3D printer. The tip-up clip (r) takes on the texture of the handle, while the lanyard hole increases the carrying comfort. Supplied with a quality nylon case for storage.
